Differentiated thyroid cancer

Differentiated thyroid cancer is an uncommon disorder that is being diagnosed with increasing frequency. In recent years, research has increased our understanding of its pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical assessment, treatment, and prognosis. A typical case is presented, followed by a review of the pertinent literature, steps in clinical assessment, prognosis, treatment, and follow-up.
