This article describes follicular rash and its clinical management for oncology healthcare providers. Documentation of this condition and its management is inconsistent, but our clinic has developed several innovative ways to treat it. Although they are not research-based antidotes, we believe their demonstrated value merits dissemination. We include two case studies, both written by patients, one of whom is also a physician, to provide insight into how this problem affects people and the importance of recognizing and treating follicular rash early in its course.
